SlabReady is built local-first. All scan data, card images, and grading results are stored on your device. We do not operate servers that collect or store your personal data.
SlabReady ("we," "us," or "our") is a mobile application designed to help trading card collectors prepare cards for professional grading submission. This Privacy Policy explains how SlabReady handles your information when you use our Android application.
SlabReady requires access to your device camera to capture images of trading cards for analysis. Card images are:
When you scan a card, SlabReady generates grading analysis data including centering measurements, corner analysis, edge analysis, and surface review. This data is stored locally on your device only, associated with the card images you capture, and retained until you delete it from within the app.
Submission tracking data, card notes, and submission notes you create are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted anywhere.
SlabReady uses the Pokémon TCG API (pokemontcg.io) for card identification features. When card identification is used, limited card search queries may be sent to this third-party service. No personal information, images, or scan data is transmitted to this service. Please review the Pokémon TCG API privacy policy at pokemontcg.io for their data practices.
SlabReady does not collect:
All app data is stored on your device using Android's AsyncStorage system. This includes saved scans and card images, grading results and subgrades, submission records and notes, app preferences and settings, and onboarding preferences and tutorial progress.
You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app data through your device's Settings.
SlabReady requests access to your device camera solely for the purpose of capturing card images for grading analysis. Camera access is used only when you actively initiate a scan within the app. We do not access your camera at any other time.
Pokémon TCG API (pokemontcg.io) — Used for card name and set identification. Card search queries may be sent to this service. No images or personal data are transmitted. Their privacy policy is available at pokemontcg.io.
SlabReady provides AI-assisted grading estimates and submission outlooks intended to help collectors prepare cards for professional grading.
All grades, subgrades, and submission outlooks generated by SlabReady are estimates only and are not official grades issued by PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, or any grading company. Actual grading outcomes may vary.
No grading analysis data is transmitted to SlabReady servers. All analysis is performed locally on your device.
SlabReady is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Because all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device's security settings. We recommend using a screen lock and keeping your device software up to date.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any updates. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy reflects the most recent revision.
